How much power will GCell produce?
The amount of power GCell will product is dependent on the size of the module, the intensity of the light it is exposed to and the duration of the light exposure. For simplicity we use 4.8 μW/cm² at 200lux (a typical living room ambient light level). For a better understanding try our power calculator.
The voltage of GCell is determined by how many cells are contained within the module. Each cell produces 0.45v (at 200lux). GCell is available in a module configuration from 2 cells to a maximum of 11 cells – to put it another way 0.9v to 4.95v. For a better understanding try our power calculator.
What is the efficiency of GCell?
Efficiency of solar cells is often misunderstood and often a user will convert efficiency into a power calculation for their desired application.

What size GCell modules do you manufacture?
GCell is available in custom lengths and sizes for high volume OEM integration – from a minimum length of 50mm to a maximum of 1000mm and a minimum width of 2 cells to a maximum of 11 cells. To view our current product range visit Custom Solar Cells.
How can I connect between a GCell module and my application?
GCell comes with an integral connection terminal that is thin and flexible. It has a minimum bend radius of 2mm. The integral flexible connector is suitable for use with the Molex FPC connector 52207-1260. For further information visit Interconnect.

How do I measure the light level?
To accurately measure the light levels we recommend using one of the two following lux meters Tenmars TM-203 or the Gigahertz optiks P9710 with VL-3701-2 head.
