Richard Costello Chief Executive Officer

Richard has more than 25 years gained within high volume automotive manufacturing across multinational sites throughout Europe and Asia where he has held executive managerial positions in Operations, Production, Engineering, facilities and Quality.

Richard is a lean manufacturing champion and six sigma black belt and a qualified lead auditor in both ISO 9000 Quality Systems and SA8000 social accountability systems.

Jeff Martin Chief Financial Officer

Jeff has several years of experience in financial analysis and management, including Manager of Finance at Hulu, LLC, a U.S. based online streaming video service. At Hulu, Jeff was instrumental in supporting the launch of their subscription service, Hulu Plus, which acquired 2 million subscribers and generated more than $200 million in revenue within the first 18 months of business.

Prior to Hulu, Jeff was an Assistant Vice President at Wells Fargo & Company, within the Real Estate Managed Assets Group, where he managed a $200 million portfolio of distressed commercial real estate loans. Jeff initially worked as a Financial Analyst in Wells Fargo’s Global Banking Group, where he underwrote commercial loans for middle-market multinational companies with revenues ranging from $20 million to $2 billion in a variety of industries.

Jeff earned a B.S. in Management from Indiana University and is currently enrolled in the MBA program at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

John Meschter - G24's Chief Technology Officer

John Meschter Chief Technology Officer

John has more than 30 years experience in manufacturing automation, product design and product development. Based at the G24 laboratory in Lausanne Switzerland he works in close collaboration with the original inventor Professor Michael Graetzel. John is the principal engineer for the transition from lab to manufacture and is the lead architect for the next-gen DSSC products.

The majority of his career was spent at Polaroid Corporation in the US, developing battery manufacturing and new film products. He also has vast experience in the design and manufacture of fuel cells, lithium ion batteries, as well as manufacturing using high speed web assembly automation.

John gained degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University, a Master of Business Administration Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and currently holds 22 US and international patents.
